In most cases, no. Our on-site cleaning methods are designed to clean drapes while they remain hanging. For very delicate fabrics, heavily soiled drapes, or those requiring special treatment, we may recommend taking them to our facility — but we'll always discuss this with you first.
How often should drapes and curtains be cleaned?
Drapes in living rooms and bedrooms should be cleaned every 2–3 years at minimum. Kitchen drapes, or those in smoking households, benefit from annual cleaning due to faster buildup of grease, smoke, and cooking odors.
Can all types of drapes be cleaned on-site?
Most standard drape fabrics — polyester, cotton blends, linen — are excellent candidates for on-site cleaning. Very delicate fabrics like pure silk or antique textiles may require more careful off-site handling. We'll inspect the fabric before recommending the best approach.
Will cleaning cause my drapes to shrink?
